To activate your Debit card, First, open your Chrome browser on mobile or desktop and search for “online SBI”.Now go to onlinesbi.com, which is the official website of the State Bank of India.

1. Now, click on the login button at the personal banking option. This option is on the left side of the screen.
2. At this redirected page, click on the Continue to login button pointed at the upper right side of the screen.
3. On this login page, fill in your username and password to log in & fill in captcha also.
4. If your username and password are correct, your internet banking account will be open. If you don’t have a username and password you can also make it from the onlinesbi.com website.
5. If you are logged into your internet banking account, click on the third option named E-Services available in the upper section.
6. After clicking on the e-services option, you can see a lot of options like ATM card services, PAN registration, pension slip and ‘apply for an SBI credit card’. Click on ATM card services which is the first option on the page.
7. On this ATM card services page, you can see the options like block ATM Card, ATM pin generation & new ATM card activation. Click on the new ATM card activation option, here you can see your account number and further details.
8. To activate your SBI ATM card, enter your ATM card number in its section & re-enter your ATM card number below. Now, click the Activate button below.
9. After that, you get OTP in your registered mobile number of SBI. Fill your OTP in the following section and click the Confirm button.

Now, you will see a notice written with “your ATM Card has been Activated Successfully.”

Note: Your SBI debit card activation is completed but you still have to generate an SBI debit card PIN.

SBI Debit Card PIN Generation

1. For SBI debit card PIN   generation, click on the E-Services option available at the menu bar & click on the first option ATM card services.
2. Now, click on the ATM PIN generation option not at new ATM registration because your new ATM is activated but the PIN is not generated now.
3. After clicking on the ATM PIN generation option, you have two options to generate an SBI ATM card PIN. The first is from OTP and the second is from your internet banking login ID’s password.
4. We recommend you choose the OTP option because this is a more secure & suitable option for you. After clicking on the OTP method, you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number of SBI, fill in OTP & Verify.
5. After verifying OTP, your account number will start showing, click the Continue button.
6. On this page, you can see all your ATM cards. If you have multiple ATM cards, you need to choose which one you want to activate. If this is your first card, your ATM card will automatically be selected. Click on the Submit button below.
7. After all of this process, You can make your ATM PIN here. In this section make your PIN’s first two digits (you can choose any two numbers you want) & click Submit. Now the last two digits of your ATM PIN will be sent to your registered mobile number, Fill them here & click on the Submit button.
8. Now your SBI ATM Card is successfully generated & your ATM debit card activation is completed. If you still can’t find your SBI debit card PIN, read with full focus.
9. The first two digits you have filled there and the second two digits that came to your registered mobile number, that is your SBI ATM card PIN. Suppose if you made the first two digits “23” & the OTP digits are “56”, then your Debit Card PIN is “2356”.

SBI Debit Card Activation Through SMS

1. Open your mobile and go to messages & message them with the following pattern.
2. Write a new text message to SBI “PIN XXXX XXXX” to 567676.
3. First, write PIN(in Capital letters) and space XXXX(debit card’s last 2 digits) and space XXXX(last 4 digits of the account number).
4. Send this message to 567676 by registered mobile number.
5. After sending this message to 567676, you will get a response from the Bank and you will get a one time PIN on your registered mobile number.
6. Now, go to the ATM and use that PIN to change the PIN. first, put your one time PIN in the ATM and click on “create a new PIN” & create your own PIN there.

After all this process, your SBI Debit Card Activation process is completed & you will get an SMS on your registered mobile number that Your account PIN is successfully changed. Now, you can use this PIN for your debit card every time.
